Roberto Alomar played Major league baseball for 15 years. He started his career in 1988 in San Diego. He was selected as an all star in 1990 while with the Padres. He was traded to the Blue Jays in 1991. The Blue Jays would win two Championships with Alomar and John Olerud and Paul Molitor. In 1995 Alomar left for Baltimore. They Orioles went to the ALCS but lost in 1996 and 1997. In 1999 he headed to Cleveland to play for the Indians. He would win a gold glove while in Cleveland.

By 2002 he was traded to the Mets. He struggled in New York with the fans and the media scrutiny. He tried to get his game back in Chicago and Arizona but to no avail. He retired in 2005. Over his career he would win a total of 10 gold gloves and be an all star 12 times.
