Joe Dimaggio Vintage Baseball Bats

Joe Dimaggio Baseball Bats

Joe DiMaggio was born in 1914. He played for the Yankees his whole career. He won the MVP award 3 times and was an all star 13 times. He was picked to play in the All Star Game every year that he played. In 1941 he achieved a 56 game hitting streak. When Joe was growing up his father couldn't understand Joe's love of baseball. The family had been fisherman for generations.

Joe started his career playing for the San Francisco Seals. Later he got his break when a Yankees scout convinced the Yankees to acquire him. He debuted at the Yankees in 1936. The Yanks would go on to win the next four Championships. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955.

While other famous baseball players were known for their tempers and other unsportsmanlike behavior, Joe Dimaggio was known as a consummate professional and a good sport in his playing skills and his temperament.

This kind of role model behavior enhanced his reputation as a player and certainly doesn't hurt sales of vintage baseball bats signed by him. Because Joe Dimagio signed many baseball bats during his time, collectors can find excellent collectible pieces at any given time.
