Jimmie Foxx Vintage Baseball Bats
Jimmie Foxx began his major league career in 1925. He played baseball in high school but dropped out to play professionally. He started as a catcher for the team. He eventually signed with the Philadelphia A's. Once at the A's he split his time catching and fist base. 1929 was Jimmies break out year. In 1933 he won the Triple Crown. That year and the one before, he won the MVP award.
Once the depression hit Jimmie was traded to the Red Sox. While in Boston in he won another MVP award. He would also play for the cubs and the Phillies. He died in 1967.
