Jeff Bagwell Vintage Baseball Bats

Jeff Bagwell Baseball Bats

Jeff Bagwell played major league baseball for the Houston Astros. In high school Jeff played soccer as well as baseball. He was drafted by the Red Sox but promptly traded to the Astros where he would remain for his entire career. He was named 1991's Rookie of the Year. In 1994 Bagwell was on his way to an amazing season. It would have been even better had the strike not shortened the season. That year he won the MVP award. He won unanimously.

He had an unusual stance when batting. Because of his stance he had his hand broken in three different seasons. He retired in 2006 after a shoulder injury. The Astros retired his jersey in August 2007.
