Frank Thomas Baseball Bats

Frank Thomas was born in Columbus Georgia. He and Jeff Bagwell share the same birthday. While in school he was good at both baseball and football. He went on to Auburn University to play baseball. He went on a football scholarship. He began playing both sports but eventually gave up football and stuck with baseball. Auburn continued to pay for his schooling.

In 1989 the White Sox drafted him in the first round. His first Major League game was in august on of 1990. In 1993 he won his first of two consecutive AL MVP awards. He kept up his level of play until 1997. He had two off years and then came back strong in 2000. He signed with the A's in 2005. He had a bit of career rejuvenation in Oakland. He did a brief stint with the Blue Jays before retuning to the A's.
