Eddie Murray was born in 1956 in LA. He grew up with four brothers who all ended up playing some type of professional baseball. In 1973 he was selected to the Baltimore Orioles. Four years later he made is major league debut for the Orioles. That same year he also won the Rookie of the Year award for the AL. The Orioles won the World Series in 1983.
Even after was traded to the Dodgers in 1988 he was a consistent batter. He batted in 88, 95, and 96 runs in three years. Later he would play for the Mets, Indians, Angel and the Dodgers and Orioles again.
